Honestly, I can relate. As I was walking out to my nice new truck I witnessed first hand a fat lady swing her huge arm and door into the side of my truck. I stopped and almost fell over at the gash it left. Six door dings later I decided to take up two spaces when I went to the mall. This didn't qualify to park that way everywhere I went. I got over it and started parking way far away in hopes I could salvage what was left of my new truck's paint and door condition. However, I decided that if at all possible, since I do drive a truck and all, I seek out spaces next to curbs, get as close as I can to the curb leaving lots of room on the other side for large, or just careless door openers with no respect, or I will just put two wheels in the grass.
