1. get a life
I was useing the metro to take a group of 12 people with developmental disabilities out in the community for social interaction and recreation. Can't you find something better to do with your time? Maybe I can sign you up for the next session. I think it would provide you with much needed activity in your life.
2. I Have a Life
It sounds like the work you do is noble. But, don't judge me because I choose to bring attention to the bad parking habits of others. Actually, I do have a life. I dedicate a great many hours weekly to public and community service. As for your parking in a fire lane, as I've said to others ... you were here early, and had the pick of spaces. There are spaces that are next to curbs and that are extra wide, but you choose to break the law! You could easily have been cited $300 for parking in a fire lane. I was just brining it to your attention. The fire lanes exist for a reason; to allow vehicles easy access to the station in the event of an emergency. Yes you're only taking 6 extra inches, but that is a tight turn and could mean difficulty in responding to an event. I’m guessing when they painted those lines it was because of the clearance that would be needed by a fire truck or other response vehicle. You could have responded with a thank you, like someone else on this site, but instead you choose to attack my life. Hmmmm.
3. So...
did you let one of them park the car or what?
4. hmmmmm
I can't figure out how what you do has anything to do with how badly you parked.....?? and I can't believe you, a person that supposedly works with DDs, just went off and called RockvilleEye a retard!
5. Five
I had to give this submission a 5 due to the shear entertainment value of the comments.
6. fantastic
great post... this makes me wish i had people i could blame my parking on too.
7. You Gotta Be Kidding Me..
Parkly.net = Whiners.net. Get a life. One social misfit decided to created a website to whine and complain about perceived injustices in the "parking world" and found other social misfits to "share the pain". Like the "Robin Hood" of the parking lot. WooHoo... save us Robin Hood. Glad you guys are out there armed with your little cameras and 1" x 1" petty little pieces of paper citations making it a safe place for the rest of the world! What we would have to deal with otherwise? I shudder to think. You guys are a joke! This website is a joke! I can't believe I am stooping to your level and wasting my valuable time by dignifying this crap with a response. You won't see me here again, but you'll probably see my vehicle parked the same as always. So keep you battery pack charged and your little citations handy. Have A Nice Day - you "mommy didn't nurse me enough", friendless, little rejects.
8. Are you kidding?
Do you think you are doing the world good by posting people parked a foot over the line?? YOURE NOT! Especially when they only take up one actual space and none of the road. This is pathetic that this is one of the most viewed. YOU are the ones that think your better than the rest!!!!!!!!!!
9. Fun to watch
I would really like to see 12 people fit into that little SUV
10. innocent or guilty?
Honestly I could give a craps less if this person was six inches into the little fire lines or not but before you guys go snapping pictures of just any Joe Schmoe really take a look at the parking job. I bet there is at least a picture or two on here already where they were actually the victim of another persons bassackwards parking job and were forced to park the way they did. If you watch the person park that way then by all means go clicker happy with your cam and embarrass the hell out of them but if you come out of a store and see a car thats over the lines just a little give it some thought before you snap away.
